What was the situation?
A new and growing community bank with no internal communications department. The company realized the value of social media, however, staff was busy focusing on the day to day operations of the bank, including providing top-notch customer service. The banking industry has to follow certain government regulations when it comes to ‘advertising’ and needed a partner that understood the intricacies of these regulations.
Here's what we did...
Realizing the time commitment required, the bank decided to outsource its social media. Starting with Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin, and eventually adding Instagram, Pinterest and Google+, the bank works closely with Marketing 2 Go for content ideas and strategic efforts. The teams meet monthly and strategize as well as review digital marketing efforts, including email marketing analytics. Adding a second location in a neighboring county in 2015, Marketing 2 Go continues its efforts with the bank’s new Volusia banking center.
